How hot does the oven become?

Your Bella pizza oven is designed to operate at a wide range of cooking temperatures, from the low 300F for smoking and slow cooking recipes to 750F for baking Pizza Napoletana. The chef controls a number of variable that determines the heat of the oven chamber, including the size and the intensity of the fire and the size of the wood coal bed.

The oven reaches the 750F temperature required for baking traditional Italian pizza, including Pizza Napoletana, in 10-15 minutes.

Because the Bella pizza ovens are extremely well-insulated, the outside of the oven enclosure stays cool to the touch, not much hotter than room temperature, while the oven chamber is 750F.
